This policy explains what information HypedBoston (hypedboston.com) collects and how it is used.
What we collect
Email newsletter. If you subscribe, we collect your email address to send you our event picks. The newsletter is delivered through Jetpack and WordPress.com (Automattic). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
Event submissions. If you submit an event, we collect the details you enter, including your name and email, so we can review the listing and contact you about it.
Site statistics. We use Jetpack Stats to understand how many people visit and which pages are popular. This uses aggregated data and cookies set by Jetpack/WordPress.com.
Hosting and security. Our host (WP Engine) and its network providers may log standard technical information such as IP address and browser type to keep the site running and secure.
Links to other sites
Event listings link to venues, organizers and ticket sellers. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers above as needed to run the site, or if required by law.
